Alicia is a Lawyer and Human Resource professional, who graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Moi University and a Post Graduate Premier Diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM) from Cambridge International College. She is also trained on the ACERWC – she has experience in the child rights nonprofit sector, having worked within the regional ECD advocacy space in Africa. She has gained valuable knowledge and is experienced in matters child rights with an ECD lens, project management, research, partnerships and collaborations as well as, administrative and program support.
Alicia is responsible for the Nyota ECD and Law program, focusing on the cross section between early childhood development and the legal systems. The program seeks to create a vital bridge for cross sharing of experiences and knowledge between lawyers, legal scholars and ECD practitioners and researchers.
