Quality Early Learning
Early Childhood Care and Development
Children begin to learn about the world around them from a very early age including during the pre-natal, peri natal and post-natal care. We work to promote high-quality early childhood care and development, by training caregivers to create stimulating and developmentally appropriate learning environments.
Our primary focus is on children below (3) three years. The content is based on the (5) five components of the Nurturing Care Framework; good health, adequate nutrition, opportunities for early learning, safety and security and responsive caregiving.
In addition, we advocate for caregivers to promote play-based learning allowing children to explore & discover the world around through activities, and use of low-cost recycled materials.
Caregiver and Community Empowerment
Parental wellbeing is key in promoting the holistic growth of children. We provide caregiver empowerment through training and counselling to improve the caregiver’s mental health, parenting skills and setting home conditions to support young children within the community. We support parental/caregiver wellbeing through workshops, mentorship and coaching services; working with partners such as faith-based organizations and the local administration to foster community-based solutions.
